Established in 2017, Silhouette Coffee Co. began as a passion project ignited by Emma’s love for crafting delightful coffee experiences. Partnering with Sofia, they quickly gained recognition for their meticulous brewing and impeccable service, catering events across Massachusetts. In 2019, a personal move brought Silhouette south to Lynchburg, Virginia, where they continued to flourish. However, with the pandemic’s arrival in 2020, event restrictions forced a temporary pause. Undeterred, Emma and Sofia embraced this as an opportunity for reinvention. Returning to their northern roots in 2025, with unwavering support from loved ones, they proudly relaunched Silhouette Coffee Co., now offering their signature coffee expertise beyond catered events.

Meet Sofi, the younger sibling of Emma, a talented barista who found her calling in the world of coffee at a young age. Her journey into the art of coffee crafting began during her early teenage years when her local church established a cafe, igniting a spark that led to a rewarding and delightful career in espresso creation. Beyond her affinity for coffee, Sofi is a musical bookworm, spending her time immersed in books and singing at her local church, creating a symphony of passions in her life. Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, Sofi dreams of one day designing and constructing her own espresso machine, adding a touch of innovation to her already impressive journey in the coffee world.
